About Salt Lake Shopping Center
Built in 1973, Salt Lake Shopping Center is located in Central Oahu, and surrounded by one of the most densely populated residential communities in the State of Hawaii. The Center's neighbors include, the Honolulu International Airport, Pearl Harbor Navy Base, Hickam Air Force Base and Fort Shafter.
Salt Lake Shopping Center is proud to say that many of the existing tenants such as Soon's Kal Bi, and Safeway are one of several other original merchants and long time favorites to community residents.
Over time, the Center's improvements brought in tenants such as Pay N' Save's transformation to Long's Drugs in 1990, Blockbusters arrival in 1991 and the renovation of the old Sizzler Restaurant in 1999 to what is now McDonald's. We also saw in 2005 the Center's own grand makeover with the addition of common area seating and a beautifully landscaped courtyard. Today,Salt Lake Shopping Center is home to some of Hawaii's favorite local eateries, restaurants and more.
